The Milwaukee Bulldog Club, Inc was organized in 1959 by a group of Bulldog enthusiasts interested in breeding, showing and owning Bulldogs as pets.

The organization encourages and promotes the breeding of pure-bred Bulldogs only to the standard approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and The Bulldog Club of America, Inc.  They do all in their power to protect and advance the interest of the Bulldog by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows.  They conduct AKC licensed specialty shows and sanctioned puppy matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

The club urges members and breeders to accept the AKC/BCA Standard of the Bulldog breed as the only standard of excellence by which Bulldogs shall be judged.
